maven-repo-helper software package provides Helper tools for including Maven metadata in Debian packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maven-repo-helper
maven-repo-helper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maven-repo-helper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maven-repo-helper *
You will get with maven-repo-helper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
